Univision wanted to go beyond on-air comments (text-only tweets) and tapped viewers to be a part of the story using Videoo for the World Cup news coverage.
Univision partners up with Videoo to showcase authentic fans celebrating the Soccor Gods for the World Cup final game. To go live in minutes, the executive producer simply added the Videoo player to their blog (using two lines of embed code). Fusion then promote awareness on social media via tweets asking viewers to contribute content to be in the same scenes.
This simple pilot proved the ease and speed of adding Videoo to plug-n-play as a new and exciting way to engage and unite viewers in more social TV.
